Apple crushes June quarter earnings records Apple announced Tuesday a new overall June quarter revenue record of $81.4 billion, a 36% year-over-year increase compared to $59.6 billion a year ago. The company posted a quarterly net profit of $21.7 billion, or $1.30 per diluted share, versus a profit of $11.2 billion, or 65 cents per diluted share, a year ago.
